The Deep Space Network (DSN) that is situated in Spain, California and Australia is about to be setback because the Robledo de Chavela 70-metre dish near Madrid will be out of commission from the end of June until 1 October, following the discovery of two of the four antenna bearings were damaged. If the damage is severe, the Madrid antenna may be out of use until at least January 2007.
This would have a impact on the Cassini mission, and other missions.
