Sunspot 10 905 has developed a beta-gamma magnetic field that could produce M-class solar flares.

Sun 25.08.06

This bipolar sunspot is similar to Sunspot 10902 that appeared on July 31st, in that it too has the magnetic poles reversed.
(The North pole is the larger of the two spots)

The reversal of the poles may mean that the next solar cycle (Solar Cycle 24) is beginning.
The sun is currently in a time of minimum activity, although the appearance of these magnetically-reversed sunspots, indicate that the cycle of activity is due to begin to ramp up again towards the next peak, which is expected to occur in 2012.
