Tropical storm Norman is forecast to strike Mexico at about 18:00 GMT on 15 October. Data supplied by the US Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Centre suggest that the point of landfall will be near 18.7 N, 104.6 W. Norman is expected to bring 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 74 km/h. Wind gusts in the area may be considerably higher.
