Typhoon Chebi struck the Philippines near 16.3 N, 122.7 E, at about 18:00 GMT on 10 November.
Chebi had 1-minute maximum sustained winds of around 231 km/h, and gusts that may have been considerably higher.

Typhoon Chebi is forecast to strike land near San Jose (15.8 N, 121.5 E) in about 24 hours.
