There is a city that never sleeps. The sky is perpetually filled with the chatter of a million electronic devices as they deftly weave their way across the airwaves. It is a place where the traffic lights talk to each other, bus stops keep tabs on the services for which their passengers are waiting and every civil servant is constantly monitored, directed and kept safe. It is a town where every public service is delivered efficiently and effectively at the optimum pace, and it is called Aberdeen: 2008. Or that is the vision anyway.
