Calling fourth-grade teacher Jodi Vidaurri spacy would be paying her the highest compliment.
Jodi Vidaurri, a fourth-grade teacher at Laurel Oak Elementary School, teaches her students during class Wednesday. She will attend Space Academy for Educators, a summer camp in Huntsville, Ala., in June.

Vidaurri lobbied to have her new school, Veterans Memorial Elementary, named Columbia in honour of the ill-fated space shuttle that broke up over Texas in 2003, killing all seven astronauts on-board.
