Hurricane Dean has begun lashing the south coast of Jamaica, ripping off roofs and triggering mudslides. Correspondents say the storm is gaining in intensity with every passing minute and there are reports of flooding in the east of the Caribbean island.

Hurricane Dean has winds of 150 miles-per-hour and forecasters say it could turn into a Category Five storm by Monday. Dean is leaving the eastern Caribbean with flooding, damaged homes and at least three deaths. Dean could make landfall in the U.S. by Wednesday. NASA Mission Control at the Johnston Space Centre shortening today's ISS spacewalk by two hours. This would give NASA the option of bringing the space shuttle Endeavour back home Tuesday, a day early. NASA is trying to avoid any possible weather problems with Hurricane Dean.
