Alaska State Troopers are looking into reports of something -- possibly a meteorite -- seen over Kodiak this week.
Whatever it was people saw yesterday (Tuesday) morning, it doesn't appear to have been was an airplane. No emergency beacon went off and no debris has been found.
Jennifer Horning, who lives at a ranch on Anton Larson Bay Road, saw the event while driving her son into school at about 6:45 a.m.
