Title: Claude - An Automation Tool for the Monet Telescopes

Claude is a cross-platform automating tool for the robotic Monet telescopes operated by the Georg-August-University at Goottingen, the University of Texas at Austin and the South African Astronomical Observatory. It provides an advanced front-end for the existing web interface and helps the observers to plan and make their observations.

New Sutherland telescope under construction
A new telescope specially geared to help learners is under construction at Sutherland in the Northern Cape. The South African Astronomy Observatory says 40% of the telescope's time will be devoted to helping learners in the Southern Hemisphere - via the internet.
