Pandavula Metta is also located in Peddapuram has its own mythological history.Here we can find some ancient caves and the foot of Bheema ( one brother among the Pandavas Dharma Raju, Bheema, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva) can be seen here.

An ancient mound-cum-hillock with links to the Mahabharata lore and the Buddhist past of the region lies neglected in East Godavari.
With Samalkot Junction as the nearest railhead, the place has great accessibility. Also, it is located close to Peddapuram town on the busy ADB Road that links Kakinada and Rajahmundry.
Yet, both the Archaeological Survey of India and the AP Tourism Development Corporation have shown little interest in capitalising on the spot.
