Supernova 2008Q

A bright magnitude 13.5, Type Ia supernova, 2008Q, was discovered on the 26th January, 2008, by Giancarlo Cortini, in the galaxy NGC 524 in the constellation Pisces.
The supernova is located 160" east and 54" north of the nucleus of the galaxy.

Position(2000): R.A. = 01h24m57s.23, Dec. = +09°33'01".5
