Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft	Permalink

The preparations for launch of a Soyuz-FG carrier rocket with Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft is proceeding at the Baikonur cosmodrome. The launch of the Soyuz-FG carrier rocket, with Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft, is planned for May, 27th at 14.34 in Moscow and at 16.34 in Astana. Source __________________

ESA today unveiled the logo for astronaut Frank De Winnes six-month mission to the International Space Station. De Winnes OasISS mission is set for launch on 27 May and will see him become the first European commander of the Station, in October 2009. Read more __________________

Space organisations in Canada, the European Union, Japan, Russia and the United States have agreed on the following schedule and members for the 20th Expedition Crew that will stay on the International Space Station (ISS). We are pleased to note that Astronaut Soichi Noguchi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) was selected as a prime member of the Expedition 20 Crew and that Astronaut Satoshi Furukawa was selected as his backup. Astronaut Noguchi will conduct mainly space utilization activities such as Japan's scientific experiments in the ISS where six crew members will be staying by his flight. Expected Stay on the ISS: Late 2009 to early 2010 Expected Mission Duration: 6 months (Launched and returned by Soyuz launch vehicle) Read more __________________
