The 240 - 550 metre wide asteroid 2008 LV16 will make a close pass (26.5 lunar distances, 0.0681 AU), travelling at 15.47 km/second, to the Earth-Moon system on the 14th July, 2011 @ 21:00 UT ±00:01.

Asteroid 2008 LW16 was discovered on 15 June by the Catalina Sky Survey (CSS).

Earth MOID = 5.6 LD
H = 19.6
Diameter: 407m
