The Shetland island of Bressay will today (Tuesday) hold the first public display of its reconstructed a Bronze Age monument.
The burnt mound is a 4,000 year old water heater located at Cruester in Bressay, one of the best preserved of the hundreds in Shetland.
It became necessary to excavate and rebuild it near the islands heritage centre to stop it being washed away by the sea.
