Hurricane Norbert strengthened into a Category 3 major storm in the Pacific ocean and headed on Wednesday toward Mexico's Baja California peninsula.
Norbert was packing winds of 125 mph and was located about 460 miles from Mexico's northwestern coast and expected to hit land this weekend, forecasters at the U.S. national hurricane center said.
