iObservatory set to open in Sai Kung Hong Kong's largest professional telescope is about to go into service at the newly completed Space Museum Sai Kung iObservatory. Situated in Lady MacLehose Holiday Village the facility is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. It houses a 60cm Cassegrain telescope inside a dome on the roof. The six-metre dome allows an unobstructed view of the sky and protects the telescope and other equipment in the rooftop from bad weather.
