Messier 15 (also M15, GCl 120 and NGC 7078) is a magnitude +6.2 globular cluster located 33,600 light-years away in the constellation Pegasus. The cluster was discovered by Jean-Dominique Maraldi on the 7th September 1746 and included in Charles Messier's catalogue of comet-like objects in 1764.

Stars, like bees, swarm around the center of bright globular cluster M15. This ball of over 100,000 stars is a relic from the early years of our Galaxy, and continues to orbit the Milky Way's center.
