Dr. Wilhelm Raithel, one of the original members of Dr. Wernher von Braun's team of German rocket scientists, died Nov. 15 at his home in Chevy Chase, Md. He was 95. Raithel was born in Hoechst an der Nidder in Germany and later worked as a civil engineer in Munich. In World War II, a civilian draft order assigned him to Peenemnde and work with von Braun on the V2 rocket.
