An army helicopter, a meteor or something more sinister? Mystery surrounds the sighting of a bright light in the sky above Inverness in the early hours yesterday. John and Mary MacDonald, of Balnafettack Road, Scorguie, Inverness, became transfixed by a blue and red glow, which they say was "half the size of the moon", at 2.15am. They watched the light, which appeared to be "high up" and stationary above the Dalcross and Tornagrain area, for about 30 minutes before it vanished.
