Industrial Archaeologist reverse engineers the past with his scale and virtual models
Bill Gould has built a 1/12 scale model a 3D CAD model of the 9" Dorpat telescope, built in Estonia in 1824 by Joseph von Fraunhofer for the Dorpat Observatory, which at the time was one of the largest telescopes in the world.
