The comet P/2008 WZ96 (LINEAR) was discovered on November 30, 2008 the LINEAR survey telescope.
The orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 23rd January, 2009 at a distance of 1.6 AU from the Sun, and a 6.14 year orbital period.
