Confirmed:
The magnitude  15.9 supernova, 2009ds, was discovered by K. Itagaki on the 28th April, 2009, in the spiral galaxy NGC 3905.

Position(2000):  RA 11h49m04s.11, Dec = -09°43'44".9

Possible supernova in NGC 3905

A possible magnitude 16.8 supernova was discovered  on the 28th April, 2009, in the face-on Spiral galaxy NGC3905 in the constellation Crater.
The supernova is located 12 West and  3 North from the centre of the galaxy. 
The distance is 85.5 mpc.

Position(2000): RA 11 49 04.11, Dec -09 43 44.9

A supernova, 2001E, was discovered in the galaxy in 2001.
