The Swift satellite observed a new outburst from SAX J1818.6-1703 a Supergiant Fast X-ray Transient on the 6th May, 2009, at 14:02:11 UT.
SAX J1818.6-1703 was first discovered in 1998 by the BeppoSAX satellite.

Position: RA= 274.663 degs ; Dec= -17.0520 degs

Source 


Recent analyses of the history of SAX J1818.6-1703 have discovered a 30-day period in this supergiant binary system strongly indicative of a binary orbital period.
