"I saw this meteor pass over Carlisle Centre and logged it at 10.37 p.m. It was a very bright white light similar to a Roman Candle and was travelling in a straight line from West to East. It appeared to extinguish itself halfway down Warwick Rd" - Bryan
Observers have reported a meteor over Edinburgh, after a "very fast" bright green light was seen travelling across the sky towards East Lothian. Witnesses said it happened just after 22:30 BST on Monday and was as fast as a low-flying jet. The fireball lasted about five seconds before burning out.
