Mt. Kerinci's volcanic activities have recently decreased although there are still tremors and a spew of black ashes.
The head of the Mt. Kerinci observation post in Kersik Tuo village, Kayu Aro district in Kerinci regency, Jambi, Heru Prasetyo, said Sunday that small eruptions still happened every 15 minutes at the 3,800-metre volcano site.
