Notre Dame High School have been given a telescope in celebration of the National Year of Astronomy.
The telescope, one of 1, 000 being given to schools by the Society for Popular Astronomy, will be used by pupils at Notre Dame High School in Surrey Street, to study the moon and other celestial wonders.
