A SL-4 Soyuz U rocket body that was launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome on the 20th November 2009, for the Kosmos-2455 satellite mission is predicted to re-enter the Earths atmosphere on the 28th March, 2010.
A three-stage Soyuz U rocket with the classified Kosmos 2455 satellite successfully launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome at 10:44 GMT, 20th November, 2009. The satellite is suspected to be an electronic information gathering satellite. The spy satellite will operate in high (67.2°) inclination LEO, 560 x 120 mile orbit.
"The satellites placement in orbit was carried out in the normal mode. After the placement in orbit the spacecraft was given the number Kosmos-2455" - Spokespeson for Russian Space Forces.
