Comet C/2009 O4 (HILL) was discovered by R. Hill (Catalina Sky Survey) on the 30th July, 2009.
The preliminary orbital elements for the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 1st December, 2009, at a distance of 2.86 AU from the Sun.
