North Laurel lab to build $60-million space research facility
Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory officials announced Wednesday they had broken ground on a new $60-million building dedicated to space research.
The five-story, 200,000 square foot building, known as "Building 200," will sit on a 35-acre site on Johns Hopkins Road in North Laurel, directly across the street from the APLs main entrance, lab officials said.
