Comet P/2002 T1 (LINEAR) was discovered on the 28th August, 2009 by J. Scotti (Spacewatch II).
The orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the  25th August, 2009, at a distance of 1.3 AU from the Sun, and a 6.67 year period.
