The H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) Demonstration Flight successfully re-entered the atmosphere at 23:26 GMT, 2ndNovember 2009.
Splash down was at around 23:38 to 23:58 GMT.

Japan's first unmanned cargo vehicle was detached from the International Space Station early Saturday and is expected to burn up over the Pacific Ocean upon re-entry Monday, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency said.

The HTV-1 spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station at 17:30 GMT, 30th October, 2009.
The HTV-1 is scheduled to begin a deorbit burn on the 1st November and burn up in the Earth's atmosphere over the Pacific Ocean on the 4th November.

The Demonstration Flight H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) was successfully berthed at the International Space Station (ISS) at 10:49 a.m. on September 18 (Japan Standard Time, JST.)
The HTV started its final approach to the ISS, and was captured by the ISS robotic arm at 4:51 a.m. on September 18 (JST.) Then at 10:49 a.m. on September 18 (JST,) the HTV was berthed at the ISS after being manoeuvred by the ISS robotic arm.
The ISS onboard crew will transfer the cargo shipped in the Pressurized Carrier of the HTV to ISS. Cargo in the unpressurised carrier will be lifted out by the ISS and Kibo robotic arms to be installed onto the Kibo's Exposed Facility. More details of the cargo transfer operation will be advised as they become available.

Japan's first cargo spacecraft arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday after astronauts aboard the station grabbed and docked it using a robotic arm.
The docking came a week after the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) launched the unmanned HTV transportation vehicle atop an H-2B rocket.
