The 110 - 250 metre wide asteroid 2009 RV1 will make a close pass (50.1 Lunar Distances, 0.1288 AU), travelling at 12.69 km/s, to the Earth-Moon system on the 9th October, 2009.

The Lunar Distance (LD), the distance between Earth and the Moon, equals 384,401 km, (or 0.00256 AU).
