SkyMap Lite 2005, a "Lite" version of SkyMap Pro 11 has been released.
This is basically SkyMap Pro with the more advanced features such as telescope control, observation planning and logging, external catalogues, and some of the more "advanced" data catalogues, removed, at a much lower price.

As a matter of note, I have tested the pro11 version.
And I can say that it is certainly accurate and has a nice simple user interface.
However, I would not recommend this program.
The reason is simple – there are free programs out there that will do exactly the same.
If anyone is silly enough to part with their money, when Distant Suns , Celestia , or Ciel are available for free download, then they should perhaps read up on `open source` before purchasing anything else….
