Comet P/2009 T2 (La Sagra) was discovered by the La Sagra Observatory, on the 12th October, 2009. The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 12th January, 2010, at a distance of 1.75 AU from the Sun, and a 20.9 year orbital period.
