Comet C/2009 U3 (Hill) was discovered by R. Hill (Catalina Sky Survey) on the 21st October, 2009.
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 11th March, 2010, at a distance of 1.23 AU from the Sun.
