The Air Force's Delta IV rocket launch set for Wednesday has been delayed at least 24 hours because of severe weather predicted for north and central Florida, the United Launch Alliance said.

A Delta IV rocket is schedule to launch the Wideband Global SATCOM-3 (WGS-3) satellite (formerly known as the Wideband Gapfiller Satellite) from the Space Launch Complex-37 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida at 00:21-01:41 GMT, 3rd December, 2009.

The launch of the ULA Delta 4 rocket has been rescheduled to between 00:21-01:41 GMT on the 3rd December, 2009.

A ULA Delta 4 rocket was scheduled to launch the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) 3 satellite, from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, between 00:45-01:30 GMT on the 19th November, 2009.

The planned Nov. 19 launch of a Delta IV rocket and a military communications satellite is being delayed because high winds at Cape Canaveral's Launch Complex 37 prevented the mating of the spacecraft to the launch vehicle.
