Clear night for launch of Exmoor's dark skies Exmoor National Park was recently designated Europe's first International Dark Sky Reserve. Friday night's event was designed to bring universes millions of miles away just that bit closer to home. So many people attended that organisers almost had difficulties in finding enough car parking in the dark fields around the reservoir's activity centre. Read more __________________

Dark sky bid for Exmoor National Park Exmoor National Park Authority is hoping to become the first English National Park to achieve Dark Sky Park status. The bid comes after a series of events to mark the International Year of Astronomy. Read more __________________
