There is an equally fascinating stone site in the USA which is in fact referred to as the Stonehenge of America? Known as Mystery Hill, until 1982, and now called America's Stonehenge, this spectacular lithic site sits on top of a hill about 40 miles north of Boston to Salem, in southern New Hampshire in New England.
This prehistoric archaeological enigma, comprises 30 acres of cave-like dwellings, astronomically aligned rock formations, a sacrificial stone, and other mysterious structures left behind by an unknown people.

America's Stonehenge is an archaeological site consisting of a number of large rocks and stone structures scattered around roughly 30 acres (120,000 mē ) within the town of Salem, New Hampshire in the northeast United States. America's Stonehenge is open to the public for a fee. Part of a recreational area that includes snowshoe trails and an alpaca farm, it is a tourist attraction, with particular appeal to believers in New Age systems.
