China has successfully launched a Long March 4C rocket with the Yaogan VIII remote sensing satellite, from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre at 02:31 GMT, (10:31 am Beijing time).

China sent into space a remote-sensing satellite "Yaogan VIII" from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre Tuesday morning, according to the center.
