Asteroid 2010 BB makes its closest approach to the Earth (0.080 AU) on the 12th January 2016

The 270 - 590 metre wide asteroid 2010 BB will make a close pass (21.6 lunar distances, 0.0555 AU), travelling at 9.53 km/second, to the Earth-Moon system on the 26th December, 2012 @ 01:25 UT ±00:03.
