A magnitude 15.2 supernova, 2010H, was discovered by the Lick Observatory Supernova Search (LOSS) on the 16th January, 2010, in the spiral galaxy IC 494 in the constellation Canis Minor. The supernova is located 3.9" west and 0.7" south from the center of the galaxy. As yet the type is unknown. Position (200): RA = 08 06 24.36, Dec = +01°02'09.1"
