A mud volcano is believed to be the likely source of flames shooting from the ground and reports of what appears to be lava to the northeast of Quetta.

A volcano has started spewing lava in Ziarat District of Balochistan, some 75 kilometres away from Quetta.
According to reports reaching here, the volcanic activity occurred in Jhari area of Ziarat at Torghar Mountain on Monday night.
