A magnitude 17.3, Type Ia supernova, PS1-1000023, was discovered by the Pan-STARRS1 Medium Deep Survey on the 12th February, 2010, in the galaxy MCG +10-15-120.
The supernova is located 5.1" East and 1.5" South from the center of the galaxy.
