Asteroid 9767 Midsomer Norton (1992 EB1)

Midsomer Norton has declared itself the centre of the universe with the launch of a new T-shirt.
The red tops, which bear the slogan 'Midsomer Norton Centre of the Universe', have proved so popular with the town's residents in the first week of sale that the shop selling them is struggling to keep up with demand.
In 1999 the town Midsomer Norton had an asteroid named after it thanks to former resident Dr Duncan Steel, now one of the world's top astronomers.
Asteroid Midsomer Norton is about three miles in size, much the same as the town itself, and is orbiting Mars.
