A LAUNCH FOR THAILAND
Arianespace will place into geostationary transfer orbit the largest telecommunications satellite ever built: THAICOM 4 (IPSTAR) for Thai operator SHIN SATELLITE Plc.
For this THAICOM 4 Flight, Arianespace will use an Ariane 5G launch vehicle.

Arianespace’s live video broadcast, complete with commentary in French and English, will cover the mission from its final countdown phase to the payload’s deployment in geostationary transfer orbit.

This video broadcast will be Web cast in real-time on www.arianespace.com, beginning 15 minutes before the scheduled lift-off and continuing until 40 minutes after launch.
The lift-off of the Ariane 5 launcher is scheduled at the opening of the following launch window:

KOUROU: From 03:40am to 05:40am, on July 11, 2005.

GMT: From 06:40am to 08:40am, on July 11, 2005.

PARIS: From 08:40 am to 10:40am, on July 11, 2005.

WASHINGTON: From 02:40pm to 04:40pm, on July 11, 2005.
