Comet C/2010 J5 (MCNAUGHT) was discovered by R. McNaught (Siding Spring Survey) on the 12th May, 2011.
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet  indicate a perihelion passage on the 20th June, 2010, at a distance of 1.35 AU from the Sun.
