Mystery ice 'meteors' strike village

Beijing meteorite experts are examining samples of ice that fell from a cloudless sunny sky on June 5 in Bodong village, Fengning county, Hebei Province.
According to a farmer, Yang Xiuqin, who was ploughing around 8:40 am, she heard a "whistling sound," and saw a white object falling from the sky into the woods 300 meters away.

Three blocks of ice have fallen from a sunny sky onto a mountain village in Weichi country on the 8th June, 2010.
The largest block of ice fell in a forest. One piece fell into a corn field 200 metres from a river.
