Comet P/2000 Y3 (Scotti) was recovered on the 19th August 2010 by J. Scotti (Steward Observatory). The comet P/2000 Y3 (Scotti) was first discovered on the 30th December, 2000, by J. Scotty (Lunary and Planetary Laboratory). The comet was last observed on the 14 May 2002. The orbital parameters of comet P/2000 Y3 = 2010 Q1 (Scotti) indicate a perihelion passage to the 20th January, 2012, at a distance of approximately 3.9 AU from the Sun, and an orbital period of 10.84 years.
