Descendants of Adelaide scientists sought

A hunt is on for descendants of early Adelaide's brightest minds to see if a love affair with science runs in the blood.
South Australia was the fledgling colony's first free settlement and many scientists flocked to the city in the early years, says Royal Institution of Australia (RiAus) head of programs Amanda Tyndall.
Many of them, including astronomers, geologists, botanists, surgeons and veterinarians, are now six feet under in Adelaide's historic West Terrace Cemetery, she said.
