A monstrous-sized rocket making for its first flight from the West Coast and involving a daylight departure is expected to draw huge crowds to and around Vandenberg Air Force Base this afternoon.
The Delta 4-Heavy, built by United Launch Alliance, is scheduled for blastoff between 1:08 and 1:23 p.m. from Space Launch Complex-6 on South Base.
